Our Mission
FFLV’s mission is to inspire first-generation students and remove barriers to post-secondary access and post-secondary graduation.
Our Vision
Everything we do comes down to one powerful vision: That all students, regardless of their circumstances, will one day have the opportunity to attend college, graduate, and actively participate in transforming their communities to create a better society.
What We Do
Using a combination of college access lessons, experiential learning opportunities, and individualized college counseling, we help our high school program participants acquire the tools they need to create a fulfilling future. Additionally, through post-secondary assistance including scholarships and advising, FFLV provides to-and-through support for our students.
By pairing this student-centered approach with family engagement, we increase the likelihood of our students’ success. Each step of the way, we help our future graduates find fulfillment by providing the access and information they need to persist through college successfully.
